BBSNet IRC Network for BBS Sysops

BBSnet is a small IRC (Internet Relay Chat) network, without a lot of the policies and rules found on the larger networks. It was created for BBS (Bulletin Board Systems) operators to communicate with each other, and also to allow their users to chat with other BBS users across the world.

New to IRC Chat?

If you are new to Internet Relay Chat (IRC), you'll need an IRC Client. The most popular of which is mIRC, but there are others available. A good place to find more IRC clients is at Tucows.

Joining A Channel

There are multiple channels on most IRC servers, including the ones listed below. Most of the conversation takes place on the "general" channel called #bbs. If you wish to join the channel after logging onto an IRC server, use the following example as a guide:

/join #bbs
