Looking for some add-ons or utilities or support software to enhance your BBS? Look no further - we have a lot of them right here! From support for specific brands of BBS software, for general utilities such as BBS graphics (ANSI, RIP, etc), FOSSIL drivers, Fidonet Mail Tossers, and other BBS utilities. Some of these programs are geared for one brand of BBS software, while others can be used as stand-alone products.

Home to SIO (Serial Input/Output) Fossil drivers, designed for the OS/2 operating system. These are derived from the original X00 fossil drivers for DOS. Version 2.0 is presently in beta test. SIO includes a program called VMODEM which virtualizes COM and modem ports, allowing incoming and outgoing Telnet connections.
NetFoss: Last site update: 2004
NETFOSS allows DOS based BBS programs to be used across any TCP/IP network, including the Internet. NETFOSS is not a virtual modem. It will not support AT commands, and will not simulate a COM port. NETFOSS will only work with DOS based programs which were designed to support a FOSSIL driver. Designed for Windows XP/2000/NT4 workstations and servers. Supports up to 65000 nodes. Written entirely in Assembly language for maximum speed. Currently in beta test.

Internet Rex is a tool for BBS sysops to transfer netmail over the Internet. Its main goal is to provide an easy to use yet very flexible way to get mail from one BBS to another using the Internet's services. Native versions for Win95/WinNT, OS/2 and DOS.
