Howie is muzzled

Thursday, February 26th, 2004

Everyone in radio is running scared. The FCC is cracking down, which means companies like Infinity/CBS and Clear Channel are cracking down as well. Heard that has-been Howard Stern was taken off six Clear Channel (or as I call them, Cheap Channel) stations that carry him. Guess what? I think its about time! Enough of this crap on the radio. Hey, while you guys are at it, go to TV and remove all that crap like Jerry Springer, stupid talk shows and those awful “reality shows”. Time to clean house boys and girls!

Kerry out in front

Monday, February 23rd, 2004

Well, by this time it looks like Kerry is the front runner for the Dims. Edwards will soon be gone. And now we have Nader running! Though I think he’s dumb for running when he should know he can’t win, it will divide the “dimocrat ” vote. If you remember the 2000 election, we may see history repeat itself. I just hope Florida doesn’t screw up again with those “chads”.

By the way, earlier this morning the website was down. The first time I’ve seen Alentus (my web host provider) have a problem.

The Army Corps of Engineers blew up the Embrey Dam on the Rappahannock River today. However, it took two blasts, as the first blast only had 10% of the explosives go off! Nice pictures on the FLS website including Quicktime video.

Ahhnold wants to be able to run for President of the US, but the Constitution won’t let him since he is from Austria. Our forefathers put that in there for a reason and I think it should stay! If you’re not from here, you can’t lead the country. I don’t mind him being the governator of Kaulifornia, but we don’t want the US to be overtaken by foreign people. Good reason then, good reason now. The world has changed a lot since 1789, but the fear of the US under foreign control is still the same. It works, don’t change it!

Rest in Peace

Not a rant, but a metion of a passing. My fiancee’s mom, Ruth Clarke Wallace, passed away last night at age 84 after a long bout with cancer. May you find peace in Heaven.

Everyone has an opinion, so do I

Monday, February 9th, 2004

The following is a long and involved rant. Remember, if you don’t like it, you don’t have to read it. However, I do read your comments. But I’ll warn you, they may wind up in the bit bucket. So don’t necessarily expect a reply.

I am a conservative. I have been since college (roughly 10 years ago). I’m not the biggest fan of President Bushy. However, I do plan on voting for Bushy in November, just because I can’t trust “I’m like Kennedy” Kerry or “I have a scream” Dean, “Pretty Boy” Edwards or, God forbid, “I’m Black and I think all Whites are bad” Sharpton. (Is Clark still in the running, or did he quit?)

As much as I dislike Bushy, I disike the “Dims” even more! I may be in the
minority, but I feel that Iraq was justified. Otherwise Saddam would be
the next Osama and want to strike us to get his revenge. Maybe he had WMDs, maybe he didn’t. But he had money and would definately do anything to get revenge on us.

Heck, he could have purchased the best Nukes that money could by from the
Ruskies, China, or even Pakistan! Also, you never know what Saddam
might have done with the WMDs. Probably hidden safe in a nearby country
like Jordan or Pakistan or Saudi Arabia. There’s a lot of sand out
there to hide WMDs.

I don’t know if any you know your WWII history, but a lot of people wanted
the US to get involved in WWII before we did. We only did after Japan
attacked us. Maybe this time a preventative measure was called for to
prevent another 9/11. As Barney Fife (Don Knotts) said, “Nip it in the
bud”.

I really think that Prez Bushy did what he had to do. Poor execution, mind
you, but he got the job done. Like a football game where you win by the
skin of your nose. It wasn’t pretty, but you got there. However, I do
think that it is time for us to leave and let the Iraqis form their own
government.

Again, this is my 2 1/2 cents. You’re free to form your own opinion. Like buttholes, everyone has one and they all stink. Nuff said.

What’s next?

Tuesday, February 3rd, 2004

Ricin at the Senate. Several years ago it was Anthrax. What’s next?

I’m more worried over MyDoom virus. And folks - don’t open ANY E-mail attachments. And get good virus scanners! Its your own damn faults that this virus is spreading

Six more weeks of cold and snow

Monday, February 2nd, 2004

Yup, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, therefore 6 more weeks of winter. Not surprised in the least.

Boobgate

Sunday, February 1st, 2004

Yup, we saw Janet’s breast. Yeah, I don’t like to see that sort of thing on network TV, but enough is enough already. Just ban her from TV period. Same goes for Justin Timberlake, Kid Rock and the rest of that sorry gang of fleabags that can’t sing. Was it an accident? Hell no! I hope that weird looking head of MTV (Judy McGrath) gets fired over this. She’s a wench from what I’ve heard. Gives Viacom/CBS an excuse now.
