Hanoi Kerry

Tuesday, March 9th, 2004

Got an E-mail from my older brother that he donated money to John Kerry (or as I like to call him now, the male version of “Hanoi Jane” Fonda). Sorry bro, but you just wasted your money. I guess you can get some of it back as a tax write-off? :-) I’m no fan of GWB by any means, but I can’t stand anyone being soft on terrorism. I’m soooo glad that Al Bore (spelling intentional!) wasn’t elected president. Kerry was a decorated Navy officer, but he’s going against his military background and has done a completely 180 degrees. Sorry, we need someone in the White House that’s strong and willing to make DAMN sure we don’t have 9/11 part 2! GWB did what he had to do, its just that he didn’t do it quite the way it should have been. An “A” for effort, a “C-” for execution. If Kerry had to do the same thing, he would probably get an “F”.

Moving on over

Moving.. what fun.. NOT! Started this weekend in earnest to move over to my fiancee’s house. What a pain and a half. Then after we get most of the stuff to her (our) place, then I’ll have painters come over and paint the house to get it ready to sell. That’s $4,000 out the window right there. But it needs to be done (sigh). More moving next weekend, this time we move the bulk of the small stuff, leaving the large stuff until I sell the house (its hard to sell an empty house).
