We’re now officially Mr. & Mrs.

Sunday, May 16th, 2004

Well, the dasterly deed has been done. Diana and I are now Mr. and Mrs. It was quite an effort, but we’re now husband and wife. Now we have to wait until the Jeep is back from the auto body shop and we’re on our way to the honeymoon! Time to catch up on sleep!

Getting close

Getting down to the wire. My brother arrives at my dad’s house late tonight. They drive down on Thursday. Diana is just about done doing the alterations on her dress (yes, she’s doing the work herself - saving a boatload of money!).

Whatever it was, it was bad

We really had a bad storm pass through last night. We lost power for about 7 hours. No damage where we lived, but a number of people in the area had flooded basements or trees knocked down. Down the road I noticed where downed trees were lying beside the road and were cut by chain saws to get them off the road. The storm was officially called a “microburst” but some people around here swore it must have been a tornado. The damage around here reminds me of when Hurricane Isabel hit here last September, which you can see to this day.

Who has time to worry about getting married? I’m so damn busy its not funny. Just yesterday I was in Philadelphia for a meeting. Then running around like a chicken with its head cut off to get ready for the wedding. I’ll be soooo glad when its all over!
