The Dimocrats (typo inserted for added effect) are having their big suckfest in Boston this week. The big sucking sound you hear is the lack of brain cells of the Dims and the vacuum they’re creating in Boston! Mrs. Ketchup Kerry spoke to the crowd last night. She sounds like she’s on drugs or something. And we expect her to be a “first lady” ? Give me a break.
Sorry for the lack of updates. Last week I was in San Diego on business and visiting distant relatives. I’ve been busy at home and have barely kept up with stuff around the house. And at work I’ve been busy reviewing tech documents (finally caught up). Gonna take a small break this afternoon and do other stuff. I’ll get back in more tech documents next week.
More proof that Mrs. Ketchup Kerry is a nut case. According to an article on Drudge Report-which had a link to a video link at WTAE (Channel 4 in Pittsburgh), Mrs. Ketchup Kerry said “We need to turn back some of the creeping, un-Pennsylvanian and sometimes un-American traits that are coming into some of our politics.” Fine. But a reporter asked her afterward what she meant and said that she never said that and told the reporter to shove it. Wait a minute?? The video shows plain as day that she DID say it! And then she denies it? Like I said, she’s a nut.
Lance Armstrong did it again. Six times! And now I hear that he’s divorced and dating that awful Sheryl Crow (yeah, she’s a “crow” alright). He deserves better!
Ken Jennings did it again. This time he closes the season. We’ll have to wait until Labor Day to see if he ever loses!
This is too good to be true. Linda Ronstadt was booed and kicked out of the Aladdin casino in Lost Wages for her views for that nitwit Michael Moore and his so-called “documentary” that he made. It goes to show that there are a LOT of people who support our efforts to combat terrorism regardless of what the liberals say. Read this CNN Article.
Ken Jennings keeps on going..how much longer though?
I redid the family genealogy pages. They looked pretty sad so I updated them with a new format (looks similar to this one but using green for the menu bars instead of blue). Just about done migrating all the pages I maintain to a GUI based format. As much as I’ve liked HotDog for my web page editor, it was time to move on LONG ago.
If you haven’ t heard, the nerds are winning BIG time. Ken Jennings is kicking butt and taking names on Jeopardy! Over 30 days and $1.1 Million in winnings. Hope he keeps going. This reminds me of 1980-1981 when Thom McKee won 46 days in a row for the game show Tic Tac Dough (remember Wink Martindale?) Those were the glory days of game shows.. now we only have 3 that are any decent - Price is Right (current version 1973-Present), Wheel of Fortune (current version in syndication 1983-Present) and Jeopardy! (current version 1984-Present). There is “Whammy! ” (Press Your Luck - part 2) but that’s only on Game Show Network. You can tell I like game shows! (the TRADITIONAL kind - not this reality show crap!)
Martha got sentenced today. A fairly light one. Now she’ll have a new place to decorate! Her sentencing isn’t that harsh - she’ll be back to her old job in a few months. Even if she has the “house arrest” she’ll do her show from her house.
Win some, lose some. Co-presented a presentation for one of my projects to my sponsor at work. Did a good job. But we might have lost out on another project - and it seems like they royally screwed myself and another person. Needless to say that there are several of us who aren’t happy. Doesn’t affect me directly per se, but neverless pisses me off!
Still busy as all heck. Just no time to update the rant page. Seems like married life has taken away my free time. I may just eventually stop posting on here since my free time has gone to next to zero. (Hint to the better half - let me play on the PC more often!)
Lets see… John Botox and Pretty Boy (Kerry and Edwards) are now out stumping to get elected. I read on Drudge Report today that they are very touchy-feely with a lot of hugging and hand shaking. Well, I always wondered if Kerry was gay (though there is nothing wrong with that) since his wife Teresa Heinz Kerry is a bona fide nut. I bet the only reason John Botox married her was for her money (she’s reported to be worth $1 billion).
Went to DeMolay last night… if membership and attendance are as low as it was last night, its about time to throw in the towel. Lack of enthusiasm and lack of people caring….
Got back from Long Island. We tried to see Diana’s friend’s daughter’s wedding but we missed it. Damn traffic on Staten Island. Oh well - we made it to the reception. We also went all over Long Island. Sad part is that the house that Diana grew up in no longer stands. But I did manage to go to the beach in the Hamptons (well, we went to the end of a road and there was a very tiny beach that didn’t seemed to be on anybody’s land). But we’re glad to be back home too.
