Still needs to get the kinks out

Monday, October 15th, 2007

Today’s the first day of the future - Drew Carey hosting the Price is Right. It was obvious why this show was the first one aired, though it was not the first one that was taped (it was a “perfect” show - 6 out of 6 contestants were winners).

However, Drew appeared to be very nervous. He needs to chill a bit before he gets on stage. Maybe a shot of vodka or a beer? Something to calm his nerves and have a better on-camera persona.

I’m just hoping that in later episodes that he’ll mellow out a bit and be more watchable. He did so well with Power of 10. Hopefully he’ll get better as time goes on…. please….

Wow! A brand new look!

Finally, I decided to update the tired look of the Diamond Mine Online site. Its not finished by any means, but its sure better than the old version.

Its been in the works since July, but finally got around to getting most of it done in the last couple of days. I think I fixed most of the glitches, but lots of inside work that still needs to be finished. Maybe in the next couple of weeks.

ProgPower USA VIII is over! What a blast!

Steve and I got back from ProgPower USA VIII last night. What a blast. 14 bands over three days, plus an “all-star jam”. As always, a very good show. As much as I like going to the show, I also like coming back home. I’m just glad that today is a Federal holiday - and since I work for Uncle Sam, I can recover from my yearly pilgrimage to the progressive and power metal festival in Atlanta.
