The File Transfer Menu
at the Diamond Mine Online
Assuming you’re at the Main Menu of the Diamond Mine
Online, press F to go to the File Transfer Menu, as shown below.

We will go over the major menu choices on this page. However, if you are new
to uploading and downloading shareware files on this system, look at our Step by Step Instructions On
How to Upload and Download Files.
NOTE - You MUST
use a Telnet Client that supports File Downloads. Please do NOT use this feature
with the built-in telnet client that comes with Windows. Please use
mTelnet or other similar telnet client that supports Zmodem file downloads.
B - Batch Transfer
Allows you to upload or download all the files that you have
previously set aside in the file transfer queue.
D - Download File
Manually download a single file.
U - Upload File
Manually upload a single file.
F - Find Text in Description
Search for files based upon their text description.
S -
Search For Filename
Search for a particular file by filename. Wildcard characters such as *
(star/asterisk) are supported.
A - List Directories
Files are catoragorized by directories. List the available file directories with this command.
J - Jump To Directory
List the available file directories and go to the directory of choice.
> - Up One Directory
Changes the directory (minor category) to the next highest one on the
list.
< - Down One Directory
Changes the directory (minor category) to the next lowest one on the list.
[ - Up One Section
Changes the section (major category) to the next highest one on the list.
] - Down One Section
Changes the section (major category) to the next lowest one on the list
L - List Files in Directory
List the files available for download in the current directory you are in.
N - New File Scan
List the new files available for download since the last time you did a new
file scan. If you have never performed a new file scan, it will list all
the available files to download.
P - Set Pointer Date
Change
the pointer (origin) date for the New File Scan.
R - Remove/Edit File
If you uploaded a file, you have the option of either removing it or editing the file
description.
V - View File
Allows you to view the contents of a compressed file.
Y - Your File Info
Gives you statistics on your file uploads and downloads.
Universal Commands
Note: Most of these commands can be used at
any time at any menu. You need to use these commands in combination with the
CONTROL (CTRL) key on your keyboard.

CTRL-C - Abort
