and Posting
Messages
at the Diamond Mine Online (via Web)

We will walk you through an example of how to view
messages on the Diamond Mine Online, and then post new messages to the Message
Forums.
Assuming you’re at the Main Menu of the web version of the
Diamond Mine Online, click on Message Groups to go to the
Online Message Forum Menu. You will come to this screen shown below.
You
now have a selection of which message groups (major directory) that you wish to
view. In our example, we click on DOVE-Net, the networked
forums for the Synchronet software package we use.
You will then go to the next menu which displays the Message Sub-Boards (minor directory) within the Message Group you have selected. In this case, we selected DOVE-Net for the Message Group. For the Message Sub-Board, we click on Internet Discussion on the list shown on the screen shot below.
Now we're looking at message subjects from within the Internet Discussion Message Sub-Board. We click on the one called Free Domain Name about half way down the page.
Here's
what the mesage looks like. Notice the buttons on the bottom of the page. Click
on Reply to reply to this message. Click on Post
New to post a new message. Click on Delete if this is
your message and you wish to delete it. (You can't delete other people's
posts).
In this next example, we choose to Post a New
Message. On the last screen, we click on the Post New button. The next
screen appears. Notice you need to type in a Subject Line to
show the topic of your post. When you're done, just click on the Post
Message button on the bottom of the page.
NOTE - You
must be Signed On in order to post messages. Guest users cannot post messages.
If you are a New User, please sign up as a new user to post messages.
That's it. Very easy to read and post messages via the
Web interface!
