The Internet Primer

The Internet Primer, an "instruction manual" for Internet beginners, was originally written in 1995 as a way to introduce people to the Internet. It was updated once again in 1996.

In March 2002, it was updated for the first time in over 5 years. It was a complete rewrite of the original primer. It will also probably be the last version, as time goes on, the Internet changes rapidly and new people really don't need to learn how to "use" the Internet anymore.
